How To Lose Weight By Fasting! This is a overview of Bob Harper's (From the Biggest Loser) Beginner's Weight Loss Transformation DVD.

The workout comes about in a studio which is very bright and white, it's almost distracting. Harper and his awesome fit group are common wearing black and gray clothing probably for them to be seen from the stark white background. Their dumbbells will also be black.

The workout starts out with some stretching exercises. There is nothing creative about these stretches, they may be probably the same ones in college in gym class in senior high school. The stretching segments lasts a little less than 4 minutes.

You then grab the weight loads and perform some military type arm and shoulder exercises and then add squats before you move within the moves where your move your entire body down to the ground and pull yourself up, something I dont go to a lot of beginners enjoying. These lower than easy workouts are done in a slow fashion though in addition to being easy as this type of exercise could be then you repeat the whole lot. Then add in some pushups, just one or two but you then stand up and return down into a push up again; again not simple for beginners. I consider myself being an advanced intermediate exerciser and I am hating this work out so far, I am sure most beginners won't ever do it again. Then we transfer to jumping jacks (how original). There are then more weight bearing exercises which are fine as well as a little more creative. Then there are more jumping jacks. Personally I hate jumping jacks. There will also be lots of lunges, also not to creative and certainly not to fun, but effective.

You then do a little yoga planks. At this point even Bobs fit gang of staffers are shaking. Then you finally obtain a bit of relief by incorporating quick deep breaths, after which you go in to knee lifts. Bob keeps mentioning this is a beginner workout, like he is trying to convince everyone that this is a beginner workout. Im not buying it Bob. Add in certain reverse table top exercises and I am really annoyed until this is being sold when just beginning workout. This is not a beginner exercise by any stretch with the imagination. Most beginners will not likely even be able to perform one of these not to mention the 15 the workout requires.

You repeat a lots of what you at least twice.

The workout ends with many nice stretches. This is possibly the only slightly easy much of this workout, but these are again stretches I did back gym class within the 80s.

This workout is 46 minutes long.

10 Minute Beginner Abs

This 10 minute workout actually starts kind of nice and easy. There are some nice and easy moves for the obliques. He even gives some tips to help out beginners. Then he goes in to what I would call advanced exercises for that lower abdominals, but there aren't that many of them. He then gets into to extremely advanced lower abdominal moves. Good thing this part from the work out is just 10 minutes, because so many beginners wont make it through the whole lot without a whole great deal of perseverance. In fact most beginners who dont warm up really well before accomplishing this could end up hurting their back. I am so annoyed that DVD is called a beginner work out. As based on how I feel concerning this workout: It is really a good workout although not for beginners. The moves are tried and true and effective but not so original and not to fun. It is my belief until this DVD sends most beginners screaming to the hills never to workout again. This is simply not the ideal workout for novices. Most with the moves are very difficult, and somebody who is just needs to workout is not gonna return to a work out that is certainly way to difficult for them and just no fun in any way. I have to ask Mr. Harper if this is a beginner's workout then what constitutes and advanced figure out, leaping over buildings and sprinting so quickly you pass trains. If you are intermediate level or higher and just like a challenging weight lifting workout of course get this DVD, if you are a newcomer i suggest you go along with one of Leslie Sansone's 1 mile or 2 mile walk DVD's. You will enjoy them more, you will go back to them more regularly, and you won't risk injury while you very well might with Bob Harpers' Beginner's Weight Loss Transformation.
